2nd Graders vist the local Library

The 2nd graders from Bingham and Downing schools paid the library a visit on Wednesday May 18, 2011. We had lots of extra help from Mrs. Halwood, Mrs. Chew and Mrs. Fortuna. The children from Mrs. Phillips Class, Ms. Burpulis' Class, Ms. Ruggieri's Class, Mrs. Fanz's and Mrs. Toomey's Class were treated to four stories about the library.
The children also created a book worm made of pipe cleaners. They received, a bag for their books, a pencil, bookmarker and a small toy to take home with them.
We were so happy that they came to visit us and we hope to see them again when they come back to take out books!
